Welcome to Stitches RN
I primarily provide a quilting service for old friends and new friends that love to piece the tops but just don't have the time, desire or space to do the quilting. I will turn that quilt top into a beautiful keepsake to be passed down for generations to come.
My stitching is done using an APQS Millennium, a stitch regulated longarm quilting machine.
I will do all over meander, custom designs, and pantograph patterns.
I attended (September 2009) Innovations and took 15 classes on different techniques and styles of quilting from well known quilters such as Pam Clarke, Sally Terry and Sue Patten.
About Me: Michelle Lowe RN
Quilting and Nursing are my passions. I work as a RN (registered nurse) during the day and Stitch any time I can. Hence the name Stitches RN came about. Thanks to my good friend Michele Palk
I began quilting with a great group of ladies that played Bunco together and we soon started quilting as a group one night a month. We enjoy each others company and soon became the Stitch -n- Bitch Quilters. We continue to quilt monthly, go to quilt shows together and "quilt camps" as often as possible, because you can never get enough quilt time in.
I am married to Mr. Wonderful (Dave) who has supported me in my love for quilting, financed my many machines, quilt camps, quilt shows/road trips, fabric stash and tools of the trade.
I have 3 terrific kids that find the humor in my quilting from the number of quilts I "pump out", the quilts I make that are to "look at" and my trips to "quilt camp." They continue to remind me that the longarm machine cost more than any of their cars, but enjoy showing all their friends how it works.
